What Fit Intelligence does
Fit Intelligence is an optional sizing tool on eligible product pages. It compares the measurements and preferences you enter with the product evidence available for the selected item and returns a recommended size, confidence level, explanation, warning, or no recommendation.
Measurements and preferences
For apparel, you can enter height, chest or bust, waist, hip, shoulder, upper arm, sleeve, shoulder-to-floor length, layering preference, and desired fit. For footwear, you can enter foot length and width, girth, heel width, arch and toe profile, sock preference, orthotic use, swelling allowance, sizing system, and desired fit.
Only provide measurements needed for sizing. The tool is not intended for medical information.
How a recommendation is made
The Fit Engine compares your entries with product measurements, variant options, available inventory, supplier or calibrated evidence, and NEEIM fit rules. Evidence quality differs by product. When confidence is too low, the responsible result is no recommendation rather than a guess.
Fit Passport storage
When you save a Fit Passport, a copy is kept in local storage in your browser. It stays on that browser and device unless you submit it for a recommendation. Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing browsers, or changing devices can remove it.
You can replace a saved profile in the Fit experience or remove it by clearing NEEIM site data in the browser.
Why fit cannot be guaranteed
Fit depends on measuring technique, body or foot changes, material, construction, production tolerance, styling preference, and the quality of product measurements. A recommendation is an estimate, not a guarantee. Review the product page, size information, selected variant, and your own comfort needs before ordering.
Health and accessibility
Fit Intelligence is not a medical device. It does not diagnose swelling, injury, circulation concerns, pregnancy-related changes, disability, or another health condition. Seek qualified guidance when therapeutic fit, compression, orthotics, mobility, or health is involved.
