1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what Neeim collects when you use the Neeim customer, merchant and driver apps and neeim.com, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and what you can do about it. Neeim is the controller of this information.

2. What we collect

  • Account: your name, phone number and email address, and the sign-in method you use (a one-time code by SMS, email or WhatsApp, or your Apple or Google account). Apple and Google give us your name and email only when you choose to share them.
  • Delivery: the addresses you save, the pin you drop for a delivery, the recipient name and phone number on an order, and any note to the courier.
  • Orders: what you ordered, from which store, the price, the payment method, and the order's status over time, including cancellations and their reason.
  • Payment: for a bank transfer, the confirmation screenshot you attach and the transfer reference you type. The screenshot is read by our software to check the account, amount, reference and date, and reviewed by our staff.
  • Location: for couriers, the position the driver app sends while online and during a delivery. For customers, the delivery pin; the customer app does not track you in the background.
  • Ratings and support: the ratings and comments you leave, and the messages you send to support.
  • Device and security: the app version, a hashed device identifier and hashed network address used only to protect accounts, and diagnostic logs when the app crashes.

Neeim does not collect card numbers or bank passwords. Your banking app is yours; we only see what you attach.

3. Why we use it

  • To take, prepare and deliver your orders, and to let you follow them.
  • To confirm bank transfers and to refuse false, altered or reused confirmations. Refused confirmations and blocked identities are kept so the same fraud cannot be repeated.
  • To offer deliveries to nearby couriers and to show a customer where their courier is.
  • To measure how stores and couriers perform - acceptance and preparation times, on-time rate, cancellations, ratings - and to warn, restrict or terminate those who fall below expectations.
  • To keep accounts safe, to detect abuse, and to answer support requests.
  • To send you notifications about your orders, and about your account.

We do not sell your information and we do not show you advertising from other companies.

4. Who sees it

  • The store preparing your order sees the order, your first name, your delivery area and, for a bank transfer, the reference and status of your payment so it knows whether it has been paid. It may view the transfer confirmation for a short time; it cannot keep a copy.
  • The courier delivering your order sees the recipient name, phone number, address and pin for that delivery.
  • Neeim staff see what they need to run the platform, review payments and resolve problems. Every staff action is recorded with who did it and why.
  • Service providers that host and run the apps: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Expo (app updates and push notifications), Apple and Google (sign-in, app distribution and maps in the apps). They process information on Neeim's behalf under their own security commitments.
  • Banks and authorities, when a payment is disputed, when fraud is suspected, or when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

  • Transfer confirmation screenshots are cleared once the order is delivered and the payment is settled. The transfer reference and the decision on it are kept with the order.
  • Orders are kept as long as your account exists and, after deletion, as anonymised records for accounting and dispute handling.
  • A courier's positions are kept only as long as needed to run and audit deliveries.
  • Blocks and refused confirmations are kept until Neeim lifts them, so that the same fraud cannot be repeated.
  • Staff action records and payment reviews are kept as long as the law and accounting require.

6. Your choices

  • You can see and change your name, phone number, email and addresses in the app.
  • You can delete your customer account from the app. If something prevents deletion - for example an order still in progress - the app tells you what it is.
  • You can turn off notifications in your phone's settings; you will still see your orders in the app.
  • A courier can go offline at any time; the app then stops sending positions.
  • You can ask Neeim support for a copy of the information we hold about you, or to correct it.

7. Security

Information is stored with Supabase over encrypted connections. Access from the apps is limited by database rules to your own records; access by Neeim staff needs a named account with specific powers, and every action is written to an audit log. Transfer confirmations are held in a private store that only the payment review and the store's short-lived view can reach.

8. Children

The apps are not directed at children under 13, and merchant and driver accounts require adults. If you believe a child has created an account, contact support and we will remove it.

9. Changes and contact

When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and a change that affects you materially is announced in the app. Questions about your information go to Neeim support, reachable from the Help screen in the customer app and from the merchant and driver apps.
